A New England native, I moved to North Carolina from Maine just a few years ago! Between these two coastal states, I make it a personal mission to squeeze in as many beach days and as much time by the ocean each summer as possible. Beyond the beach, I love cheering for Boston-area sports teams (and now, UNC), visiting friends who are spread across the east coast, and trying new creative endeavors (my latest adventure is film photography). I love to stay active and do so through my beach volleyball team (whose first winning season is hopefully on the horizon), tennis lessons, hiking, yoga sculpt, and snowboarding!
WHY I CHOSE SCIVIDA
As a freshman at Lehigh University, I knew I was interested in health and medicine but also loved the social sciences and humanities. My diverse interests led me to pursue double majors in Health, Medicine & Society and Environmental Health Studies, along with a minor in Anthropology, thereby studying health through biologic, humanistic, social, and economic lenses. After graduation, I worked in the Medicaid space and had the privilege of helping to design and coordinate services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While I loved how people-centered and rewarding the job was, I knew I wanted to further my education, so I pursued a Master of Public Health and graduate certificate in Literature, Medicine, and Culture at UNC. In graduate school, I interned at a consulting firm and saw that the industry provided unparalleled opportunities to do interesting work, broaden one’s knowledge, and develop both technical and professional skills.
I discovered SciVida by happenstance a few months later and was drawn to the prospect of helping shape a younger, fast-growing firm. Additionally, the SciVida StriVe program, wherein a proportion of profits are donated to patient-focused charities, assured me that my work could make a difference not just for the company, but also for patients. I joined SciVida shortly after graduating and immediately recognized the role that each individual plays in driving our firm’s growth, shaping our culture, and upholding a commitment to excellence. While the work is challenging, it is matched by a culture of support and collaboration, with people wanting to see each other succeed. I have had the chance to work across a variety of therapeutic areas, on both global and US-focused projects, all while developing valuable skills and having fun! I’m excited to build on what has been a great experience so far and continue to contribute to the company’s success.

Originally from Philadelphia, I call Raleigh home now. When I get done with work for the day, I’m usually watching TV while I walk on the treadmill (and call it a “workout”) or I’m catching up with friends. On weekends, I like exploring nearby coffee shops, hiking, or going rock climbing. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and I take every opportunity to explore—whether it’s reconnecting with friends outside of North Carolina or traveling abroad. While I’m no expert in the kitchen, I enjoy trying new recipes when I have the chance, and I also love dining out with friends, usually trying a new restaurant.
WHY I CHOSE SCIVIDA
Initially pursuing a pre-med path as an undergraduate, I discovered a passion for bioengineering when I added it as a minor, a decision that completely changed my career trajectory. The opportunity to design a medical device as part of a capstone project my senior year sparked my fascination with turning healthcare solutions into reality, and after graduating, I worked briefly as a regulatory consultant, helping companies navigate FDA pathways to bring impactful medical devices to patients. My desire to deepen my understanding of the healthcare landscape and how organizations operate led me to pursue an MBA at UNC. While exploring my options in school, I realized there was still much I didn’t know and sought a career that would allow me to work across healthcare segments. Life sciences management consulting emerged as the perfect way to satisfy this curiosity. SciVida stood out to me during my search—not just for its StriVe program and recognition in the Vault rankings, but also for the culture I experienced during the interview process, which felt truly unique.
Since joining SciVida, I’ve experienced an extraordinary commitment to collaboration, professional development, and excellence. The team’s dedication to helping each other succeed and creating opportunities for growth has been unparalleled. Every project has taught me something new, allowed me to grow professionally, and given me the chance to work with incredibly talented colleagues. From day one, I’ve also had the opportunity to advocate for enhancements within the company and have received unwavering support from firm leadership. Feeling that my voice contributes to SciVida’s growth is something I didn’t fully appreciate until joining the firm. Knowing that every hour I contribute not only advances my career but also benefits the broader healthcare community is why I am so proud and fulfilled to be a part of this organization.
