We are so invested in bettering the health of the human population that we donate 5% of our profit annually to three highly regarded charitable organizations whose purposes align with ours: National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders), and Patient Advocate Foundation.

National Pediatric Cancer Foundation

PURPOSE: Fund research that will lead to the elimination of pediatric cancer worldwide

NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders)

PURPOSE: Support every member of the rare disease community with programs and services focused on improving the lives of individuals and families affected by rare diseases

Patient Advocate Foundation

PURPOSE: Provide professional case management and financial aid assistance to Americans with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating illnesses

What It Means to Us

A note from our founders

When we sat down to talk about making an impact in the broader community by way of giving, we knew immediately the answer centered around patients. Effecting positive change in people’s lives by helping them get access to much-needed therapies lights a fire within us. It’s easy to get caught up in the strategic work we do from day to day—after all, we love being thought partners for our clients—but only a moment of reflection brings us back to our “why.” It’s about the patients.

Whether they have a rare disease or childhood cancer with no available treatments and research is what can help them, or they have a chronic disease but cannot afford their prescriptions from month to month and financial assistance is what they need, SciVida is in a position to help, and we are taking action.

Donating 5% of our profit annually to these reputable organizations, each earning perfect scores in finance and accountability measures by an independent rating agency, was the easiest business decision we made.
