Kevin Barnett Accepts Consulting Magazine Award in New York City

NEW YORK, June 16, 2023 – A team of SciVida leaders traveled to New York City to applaud Kevin Barnett, SciVida Co-founder and Managing Partner, as he accepted his well-deserved Top Consultant for Excellence in Leadership award at the ALM/Consulting Magazine Top Consultant dinner and awards ceremony held at the St. Regis New York last evening.

Celebrating with Kevin at the event were colleagues Jeff Liepman, SciVida Co-founder and Managing Partner, Rachel Clare, Partner, and Kiely Flanigan, Chief People Officer.

When asked what motivates him to excel, Kevin said, “I’ve been continually motivated over the course of my career by seeing the impact we can have as trusted advisors and consulting leaders on the career trajectories of our team members and the marketplace success of our life sciences clients.”

Kevin emphasized that the marketplace success of SciVida’s clients is all about supporting patients and their access to life-saving therapies. “There is no nobler cause in my mind. In fact, we’ve woven this ‘why’ into our SciVida purpose that guides our culture and business decisions: ‘to help bring science to life so that patients get access to life-saving therapies and our world is a better place,’” he said.

Kevin attributes much of his success as a leader of consulting teams and as a builder of businesses to being a lifelong learner and developing learning agility, where one can apply both lessons learned and previous experiences when encountering ambiguous and uncertain situations.
