Vault Names SciVida a Top-Ranked Consulting Firm for 2023

RALEIGH, NC, Feb. 7, 2023 – Vault’s new consulting rankings for 2023 are out, and we are thrilled to announce SciVida has been named one of the 50 Best Boutique Consulting Firms, an honor based entirely on ratings provided by more than 17,000 consultants. As a young firm—having just jetted onto the scene in 2021—we are pleased to debut on the list at #11 our first year participating in Vault’s rigorous survey process.

Every year, Vault solicits input and ratings from consultants in an annual survey of factors that motivate employees of consulting firms and uses that data to rank consultancies. Firms themselves have no say or influence over the rankings. Factors evaluated in the survey include firm culture, satisfaction, work-life balance, level of challenge, compensation, overall business outlook, and promotion policies.

While no single definition of “boutique” exists in the consulting industry, Vault considers boutique consultancies to be small, specialist firms—those that are narrower in focus and smaller in size (fewer than 750 employees) than the larger, generalist consulting firms that can offer advice across a wide range of practice areas and industries. As a small life sciences-focused management consulting firm, SciVida fits squarely in the boutique realm.
