SciVida Top Consultant Honored at Consulting Magazine Awards Ceremony

NEW YORK, June 26, 2026 – SciVida Principal Brandt Nichols, PhD, was honored at an awards ceremony and reception at the Marriott Marquis in New York City last night.

Accompanied by a team of SciVida colleagues to cheer him on, Brandt accepted his 2026 Top Consultant award in the category of Strategy and Transformation from Michael Webb, Director and Editor of Consulting Magazine. Joining Brandt to celebrate this momentous career milestone were SciVida Co-Founder and CEO Kevin Barnett, Vice President of People and Talent Kate Nye Jara, and Associate Principal Varsha Viswanath, PhD.

Whether Brandt is meticulously leveraging his expertise in oncology and critical thinking and listening skills to create winning strategies, advising his senior clients leading up to and during the launch of a breakthrough oncology drug, or simply actively managing day-to-day project execution while maintaining focus on long-term value creation, he handles it all with aplomb.

Brandt attributes his success to pushing himself beyond his comfort zone. “I surround myself with colleagues and clients who raise the bar, and I treat every engagement as an opportunity to sharpen my thinking and leadership,” Brandt said. He continued, “I consistently lean into high-responsibility roles and refine my approach after each experience. This mindset has allowed me to develop quickly from contributor to strategic advisor.”

In addition to advising clients, Brandt actively contributes to building consulting infrastructure at SciVida. He has embedded sustainability into the firm’s oncology strategy model by developing frameworks, planning templates, and facilitating approaches now used across engagements. Brandt has also helped formalize best practices for long-term strategic planning and product launch readiness, enabling consistent quality and faster scaling across teams. Through active mentorship and knowledge sharing, Brandt ensures these methodologies are adopted beyond his direct engagements. His contributions have transformed individual project success into scalable intellectual property that supports ongoing growth.

Brandt earned his bachelor of science in biology from Brigham Young University, his master of science in molecular biology also from Brigham Young University, and his doctorate in cancer biology from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he was the recipient of the Ruth L. Kirschstein Institutional National Research Service Award and an NIH Training Grant Fellow.
